As mechanical engineer you will work together with engineers with different backgrounds. You will be part of a multi-disciplinairy project team supervised by a project leader. As a independent thinker you will design mechanical modules for systems within the boundaries of a system concept. After assembly the new system will be tested. You are expected to contribute proactively to the designs, the tests and the technical product documentation (TPD) as well as to product improvements. If necessary, you will have to instruct the mechanics on how to build and/or assemble the systems. Ocassionally you will install the system at the client's site. With smaller projects you will be the project leader.

profile

You have a Bachelor or a Master degree in Mechanical Engineering. You have experience in or affinity with industrial production systems where laser, optics and precision mechanics play a role. You like to expand your technical knowledge to other technical expertise fields. You have strong communication skills in English and/or Dutch, you are proactive and independent. You are able to work with deadlines.
